Poster produced for the London & North Eastern Railway (LNER), promoting rail travel via Harwich to the Hook of Holland, for the international spring flower show at Haarlem, which ran each year from March to May. The image shows bulbfields, where workers are seen harvesting the colourful blooms, and loading them into barges on a canal. Artwork by Frank H Mason (1876-1965). Printed by Ben Johnson & Co Ltd, York.
