Poster produced for London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote rail travel to Southend-on-Sea, Essex. The poster shows a sweeping picturesque view of sea-front gardens sloping down to the shore and the promenade running along the top of the gardens. A lady and girl are walking down the steps toward the sea; the pier is visible in the background. Artwork by Welsh.
